Pamela Kay Outlaw Pate, 60, Outlaw's Bridge community, Seven Springs, died Wednesday morning, June 18.
Known as Pam to most, she had been employed as a deputy clerk with the county of Lenoir, had volunteered with the Seven Springs Area Rescue and attended Zion United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roger K. Pate of the home; their children, Jonathan Barwick and wife, Paige, of Mount Olive, Alexis B. Harvell and husband, James, of Seven Springs, Brandon Pate and wife, Emily, of Deep Run and Amanda "Mandy" Herring and husband, Ray, of Seven Springs; two grandchildren, Maddie Quinn and Lily Herring; her mother, Letha Hill Outlaw of Seven Springs; a brother, Michael "Mickey" Outlaw and wife, Shirley, of Seven Springs; several aunts, uncles and cousins, including a special aunt, Violet H. Saviak and husband, Mike, of Mount Olive; a nephew, Don Outlaw and wife, Shannon, of Bell Arthur; her canine friends, Big Dawg and Patches, and feline friend, Tyler.
Her father, Donald Keith Outlaw, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with pastor Doug Johnson officiating, followed by visitation. Burial will be Saturday, June 21, at 11 a.m. at Pate Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Duke Cancer Center or Zion United Methodist Church
