Russell Gerard Faison, 44,1575 Indian Springs Road, Mount Olive, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke Disciple Church of Christ, with the Rev. L.D. Melvin officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Haywood Stringfield Sr. and the late Alice Elaine Faison.
Two children survive.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of Jonas and Kendra Stevens, 128 Southern Plaza Drive, Dudley.
