Mr. Elbert Lee Wooten Jr., 65, 201 Stevens Mill Road, Goldsboro, died Sunday.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at Thompson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 2393 N. Beston Road, LaGrange, N.C. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery, Central Heights Road, Goldsboro.
A public visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Wooten was the son of Elbert Lee Wooten Sr. and Janie Lewis Wooten.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Kirby Wooten, Reginald Wooten, Odessa Wooten and Cleo Warren.
He is survived by his siblings, Lillie Coley, Essie Wooten, Hilda Farmer, Angeline Hamilton, Bunnie Wooten, Bobby Wooten and Johnny Wooten, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will assemble at 2543 New Hope Road, LaGrange, N.C., an hour prior to the service in preparation for the procession.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
