CRYSTAL LYNNE GRANT

Crystal Lynne Grant, 23, Mount Olive, passed away suddenly Sunday morning from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Crystal was born in Wayne County Oct. 12, 1990, to Lori Ann Weaver and Terry Michael Grant.
She was a 2009 graduate of Spring Creek High School, and was currently attending cosmetology school at Mitchell's Hair Styling Academy in Goldsboro.
Crystal was a beautiful person whose loving spirit and ever present smile radiated the joy she experienced in living every day of her life. She will be remembered as a free spirit who enjoyed good music.
Crystal was devoted to her family and was happiest when she was spending time in family/friend gatherings or with the "light of her life," her daughter, Briley Ann.
A service celebrating Crystal's life will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Chad, Philip and Josh Smith officiating.
The family requests that all who plan to attend the service please wear something pink in remembrance of Crystal.
Interment will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Crystal is survived by her daughter, Briley Ann Grant; her mother and stepfather, Lori Ann and C.J. Weaver of Mount Olive; father and stepmother, Terry and Charlene Grant of Goldsboro; brothers, Preston Scott Grant and Thomas Christopher Weaver; brother-in-law, Matthew Brent Humphrey; sister, Heather Thomas and husband, J.; and grandparents, Mary Louise Harmon, Joyce B. Grant, James Thomas Weaver Jr. and Deborah Oliver Weaver.
She is also survived by her significant other, Michael Theriac; stepbrothers, Alan Newcomb and Adam Newcomb; stepgrandparents, Charles and Vickie Robey, Linda and John Powell; and many other special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Delwood Pete Engles, A.D. Harmon and Elwood Lee Grant.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the education fund for Briley Ann Grant in care of the State Employee's Credit Union, Goldsboro, N.C.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of her parents.
