JAMES "TOM" CREECH JR.

James "Tom" Creech Jr., 67, Selma, died March 24, 2014.
Born in Johnston County Aug. 20, 1946, he was the son of the late James L. "Jaybird" and Mallie Lois Creech.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Jean Potter Creech.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with burial following in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his son, Timothy Creech of Selma; his daughter, Lisa Creech Toole and husband, Rodney, of Selma; brothers, Will Creech and wife, Linda, of Prospect, Ky., and Albert Creech and wife, Sharon, of Micro; sisters, Barbara Parker of Micro and Joanie Mozingo of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m.
Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
