Jayleah Faith Briggs, one month old, 208 Day Circle, died Monday in the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pinelawn Cemetery in Kinston.
She was born Jan. 7, 2014, to Jason Lanier and Trenez Briggs in Pitt County.
The family will assemble at the home an hour prior to the service for the funeral procession.
