Tyler Daniel Lancaster, 21, passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Wake Medical Center in Cary.
A true angel, having innocence and purity of heart, Tyler was a miracle and a blessing from the moment he was born. He shaped lives of family, friends and random strangers in ways that made them into better people.
His smile was like sunshine, and was a constant reminder of the love in his heart. His eyes sparkled with light. A quiet touch on your arm let you know he was there.
Though he is no longer with us in body, Tyler will never leave our hearts, minds or spirits. True love never dies.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. in Pikeville Cemetery, with the Rev. Eddie McKeel officiating.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Richard and Cindy Lancaster; sister, Melinda Caroline Lancaster of Cary; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Nancy McKeel; paternal grandparents, Mack and Connie Lancaster; aunt, Sharon Lancaster; uncle and aunt, Eddie and Lovie McKeel; and cousins, Lindsey Haithcock and Allen McKeel.
