William Sheppard, 87, 2037 Azalea Drive, died Thursday in the Brian Center.
Private service will be tonight at 6 in Goldsboro and Friday in Wilmington, Del.
He was born to the late Wilson and Florence Sheppard Sept. 21, 1926, and was married to Minnie Lancaster-Sheppard.
He is survived by four children.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
