NORFOLK, Va. -- Wayne Earl "Butch" Parker, 55, 1005 Bland St., formerly of Wilson, died Dec. 19 in Norfolk General Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Perry's Temple Original Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Terry Joyner officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Wilson.
He was born Dec. 24, 1957, to David and Gloria Mae Applewhite Parker in Wilson County. He was married to the late Carol.
He is s survived by a son.
Visitation will be at the church an hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will receive friends at 1207 Elvie St., Wilson, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral cortege.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
