JERRY WALKER WELLS

Jerry Walker Wells, 74, passed away Thursday evening at his residence.
Jerry was born in Greene County to the late Floyd W. and Eunit Mae Radford Wells.
He retired from The Bonitz Co., and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Wellman officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Margaret Powell Wells; daughter, Jerri Renee McDonald of Raleigh; sister, Patricia F. Fowlkes of Garner; brother, Billy Ray Wells of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Kylie and Walker McDonald; stepdaughter, Virginia Jones of Goldsboro; and stepgrandson, Cameron Jones of Mount Olive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Thelma C. Shirley and Annie D. Futrelle.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, 200 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
