Eva Gertrude Hamm, 85, departed this walk of life Wednesday morning, Nov. 20, 2013, at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.
A service will be held by the graveside Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. at New Spruill Cemetery, Bartlett Road in Saulston.
A viewing will be held Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
Ms. Hamm was born in Wayne County Dec. 1, 1927, to the late Lawrence Freeman and Georgianna Spruill Hamm.
She leaves to cherish her memories two brothers, Ira Lee Hamm of Goldsboro and Gerald Hamm and wife, Mary, of New Jersey; two sisters, Carolyn Hamm Jones and husband, elder Andrew Jones Jr., of Goldsboro and Shirley Butler and husband, pastor Warren Butler, of Goldsboro; and an aunt, Carnie Spruill of Goldsboro.
Professional services are entrusted to Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
