KATY, Texas -- Dennis Howard Lindsay, 56, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013.
Born in Grantham, N.C., June 16, 1957, Dennis resided in Katy, Texas.
Dennis was a loving husband and father, who lived his life with a kind heart and unwavering integrity.
He spent more than 30 years of dedicated service in law enforcement, the United States Secret Service and Homeland Security. Throughout his distinguished Secret Service career, he was honored to have helped protect multiple United States presidents and countless dignitaries.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Glenda, and their two sons John and Matthew; his brother, Douglas Lindsay, along with his wife, Julie; and his sister Jeannine Abdallah, along with her husband, Kim.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and RuthLindsay.
A memorial service was held Oct. 28 at Katy Funeral Home.
The family wishes,in lieu of flowers,memorials be given to The Friends of Maud Marks Library, 1815 Westgreen Blvd., Katy, Texas, 77450.
