Christine Ellen Clark, 51, Grantham, passed away Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Marlborough, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Edward Charles Cowdrey and Patricia Joycelyn Adams, and was the wife of Paul David Edwards Sr.
A memorial service will be held at Falling Creek Baptist Church Tuesday at 7 p.m., with Dr. Billy Webb officiating.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five sons, Shane, Andrew, Mark and James Clark and Paul Edwards Jr. all of Goldsboro; five daughters and sons-in-law, April Cowdrey and husband, Dewayne, of Mount Olive, Yolanda Jackson and husband, Albert, and Crystal Cowdrey and husband, Kevin, all of Goldsboro, Vivian Thornton and husband, Patrick, of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mary Wells and husband, Wayne, of Powell, Tenn.; four brothers, Tom Cowdrey of Maine, Chuck Cowdrey of Goldsboro, Mike Cowdrey of Indiana and Tim Cowdrey of Florida; two sisters, Linda Offen of Florida and Cheryl Thornton of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Anita Chirinose; and a brother-in-law, James Marshall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Cowdrey, and a sister, Patti LaMarca.
