Andrew Whitfield Sr., 99, of 110 E. King Street, died Wednesday at Vidant Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today at St. Matthew Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Claude D. Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthew Church Cemetery.
