RACHEL L. PELLETIER

LAGRANGE -- Rachel Lynch Pelletier, 82, LaGrange, was promoted to heaven Monday, Sept. 23, 2013.
Rachel was born Aug. 24, 1931, in Johnston County. She was one of 11 children born to the late Herman and Ioma Woodard Lynch.
Rachel was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family. Her life set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.
Rachel was a member of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church. Her faith in Jesus and concern for others was exhibited in all she did.
She enjoyed travel, crochet and cooking. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at 7 p.m. from Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor Gerald Fowler officiating. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
Rachel is survived by her husband of 631/2 years, Vernon Pelletier; two sons, Larry Pelletier and wife, Tina, and Phil Pelletier and wife, Kathy; four grandchildren, Jada Pelletier, Jason Pelletier, Stephanie Stallings and husband, Jeffery, and Jennifer Goff and husband, Liam; three great-grandchildren, Braxton Pelletier, Bristol Pelletier and Emma Kate Stallings; sister, Lavee Jones; and a brother, Graham Lynch.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service of remembrance, and at other times will be at the home.
