Valerie Renee Grady died Sept. 17 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 13, 1969, in Wayne County to the late Louise and James Smith. She was married to Nelson Grady.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Fremont, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Community Funeral Home.
