Gregory P. Unklesbay, 66, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory Tuesday at 2 p.m.
He was born July 27, 1947, in Fairfield County, Ohio.
He worked at Johnston Correctional Institution for eight years. He was known as the "peppermint candy man."
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sheppard Unklesbay; his mother, Loise Unklesbay; his daughter, Jamie Moody; his son, Paul Unklesbay; and grandchildren, Carolyn and Conrad Tubbs and Jaydn Unklesbay. He has three sisters and two brothers.
Viewing will be held before the service at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
