Michael Shawn Callahan, 50, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013.
He was born in Scotland County, N.C., April 13, 1963, to the late Malcolm D. Callahan Sr. and Grace Cashwell Callahan.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro, with Leonard Downes officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 to 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by brothers, Malcolm D. Callahan Jr. (Brenda) and Dennis C. Callahan (Katie) of Laurinburg, and sisters, Myrtle C. Pierson (Bo) of Roxboro and Patricia C. Lewis (Tony) of Goldsboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The First Pentecostal Holiness Church Youth Ministries, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
