Shirley Coker Wilson, 79, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
Shirley was born April 18, 1934, in Wayne County to the late Marvin and Bessie Garris Coker. She was wife of the late Yates Wilson.
Shirley was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Bogue, and a brother, James Coker.
She was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church.
She retired from Nash Printing Co. and Strickland Insurance.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, with the Rev. Tony McLamb officiating.
Shirley is survived by three daughters, Joan Hester and husband, James, of Goldsboro, Kay Lockerby and husband, Curtis, of Goldsboro and Pam Bunn and husband, Garry, of Pikeville; brother, Marvin Coker and wife, Louise, of LaGrange; five grandchildren, Sherry Montague and husband, Jimmy, Daniel Mitchell and wife, Kim, Pandy Ellis and husband, Steve, Will Hester and wife, Kaitlin, and Kyle Bunn; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service, and at other times it will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lockerby, 420 Dogwood Trail, Goldsboro.
