Charlie Bryant Mitchell Jr. died Tuesday at Durham VA Medical Center.
Funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Cobb Cemetery.
He was born March 8, 1951, to Charlie Mitchell Sr. and Lillie Bell James. He was married to Paulette Spivey-Mitchell.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends at 1609 S. John St.
Arrangements are by Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Inc.
