Elsie May Kroboth, 91, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Elsie was the daughter of the late Walter and Leanora Barnes and the wife of Francis Edward Kroboth of Goldsboro.
A son, Capt. Stanley Neal Kroboth preceded her in death. He was killed in action in the Vietnam War.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with Dr. Robert Fulkerson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Internment will take place at a later time in Arlington National Cemetery, Wash., D.C.
In addition to her husband, Elsie is survived by a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Francis Edward II and Jan Kroboth of Goldsboro; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
