Kenneth Stanley Carr, 74, Wayne County,
died March 28, 2013,
at Wayne Memorial
Hospital.
He was born Oct. 5, 1938, to the late Harry Delue and Alice Marshall Carr.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 3 p.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 200 N. James St., Goldsboro, N.C., with Father Gene Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Four Oaks Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Linda Joyce Dutton Carr; sons, Richard Kenneth Carr of Four Oaks and William Frederick Carr of Benson; daughters, Kathryn Marie Tate-Hildreth of Four Oaks and Nancy Diane Reeves of Northwood, N.H.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and following the committal service at the American Legion, 5618 U.S. 301 South, Four Oaks, N.C.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to American Legion Auxiliary Post 346, c/o Gertrude Beaver, P.O. Box 54, Four Oaks, N.C., 27524.
