ROSE HILL -- Roland Boney Sr., 91, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral will be at Island Creek A.M.E. Church in Rose Hill Thursday at noon, with the Rev. Ruth Pugh officiating. Burial will be at Boney Family Cemetery in Rose Hill.
He was married to Mozelle Boney.
He is survived by two sons and five daughters.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill.
