IVEY E. QUINN JR.

LAGRANGE -- Ivey Elber Quinn Jr., 42, LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, in Big Springs, Texas.
Ivey was born May 31, 1970, in Lenoir County to Freda Mae Jones of Seven Springs and the late Ivey Elber Quinn Sr.
Ivey served his country in both the United States Army and United States Navy.
He was presently working with Mastec as a class A lineman. Ivey enjoyed collecting antiques, NASCAR collectibles and gardening.
A service of remembrance will be held Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tom Penny officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Seven Springs Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, Ivey is survived by his fianceé, Joy Barnett; son, Koty Turner; three sisters, Melissa Miller and husband, Randall, of Pink Hill, Sandra Pipkin and husband, Randy, of Goldsboro and Angela Quinn of Seven Springs; his faithful canine companion, Little Man; along with a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday following the service of remembrance.
