RAY SULLIVAN

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. -- Earl Ray Sullivan, 84, Ooltewah, Tenn., passed away Feb. 12, 2013.
He was born in Wilson to Henry Hiram and Orpha Watson Sullivan Feb. 22, 1928.
Ray was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as a staff sergeant.
He was the retired owner of Made-Rite Sandwich Co.
He will always be remembered as a beloved husband, a great daddy, a wonderful grandpa and greatpa.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Lorraine Sullivan; children, Valerie (Kenny) Stiner of Ooltewah, Tenn., Keith (Rene) Sullivan of Ooltewah, Tenn., Lisa (Steve) Corley of Ringgold, Ga., and Jenni (Greg) O'Quinn of Brandon, Miss.; grandchildren, Sarah (Malcolm) Johnson, Ken (Sarah) Stiner, Meagan (Chris) Hooper, Jason (Emily) Sullivan, Will (Cindy) Sullivan, Andy (Cassidy) Corley, Michael Corley, Daniel Corley, Matthew Corley and Joshua Corley; great-grandchildren, Bentlee and Kenslee Stiner, Lily and Ava Grace Hooper and Ariana Sullivan; sisters, Ethelene (Louis) Kennedy of Kenly and Margaret Kirby of Lucama; brother, Elwood (Lucille) Sullivan of Kenly; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Ezra Sullivan, Herman Sullivan, James Sullivan, Mary Ellen Gifford and Virginia Kirby.
A graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Dr. Curtis Schofield officiating.
Mr. Sullivan's grandsons will act as pallbearers.
There will be no visitation.
The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, Children's Ministries, 8645 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tenn., 37421.
Arrangements are by East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 8214 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tenn.
