WILMINGTON -- Mark Edward Mooring, 39, Wilmington, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in Wilmington.
A funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Munden Funeral Home chapel, with Alan Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mark was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Morehead.
He is survived by a his parents, Ronald and Delores Mooring of Morehead City: a daughter, Lainey Suzanne Overton of Battleboro: two sisters, Rhonda Keefer of Goldsboro and Andrea Beth Mooring of Fremont: a brother, Kevin Whitfield of Goldsboro; and maternal grandparents, Ed and Lucille Lancaster of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to The Carteret County Partnership for Children in memory of Mark Edward Mooring at 3328 Bridges St., Morehead City, N.C., 28557.
