DONALD GASKIN RADFORD

Donald Gaskin Radford, 66, passed away Saturday evening at Life Care Hospital in Rocky Mount surrounded by his loving family.
He was a man who had a strong and loving dedication to the Lord, family and friends.
Donald was born in Wayne County Nov. 19, 1946, to the late Clifton Radford and Elizabeth McLawhorn.
Donald was an active member of Antioch Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as chairman of the deacon board and as a Sunday school teacher for more than 45 years.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with pastor Greg Stancil and Mr. Radford's grandson, Mason Powell, officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Annette Rose Radford; daughters, Teresa Gardner and husband, Timmy, of Rosewood, Lisa Ginn and husband, Stanley, of Goldsboro, Tommie Ann Swinson and husband, Skip, of Goldsboro and Donna Radford Powell and husband, Brian, of Seymour, Tenn.; grandchildren, Christopher Ginn, Tyler Gardner and wife, Jessica, Lauren Gardner, Ellen Ginn and fiancé, Andrew Bennett, Mason Powell, Miranda Powell and Emilee Swinson; great-grandchildren, McCandless St. John and Jayden Gardner; special daughter, Kelly Mott of Pikeville; brother, Maxton Radford and wife, Barbara, of Wilmington; sisters-in-law, Betsy Read and husband, Dick, and Cathy Harrison and husband, Kenny; nieces; nephews; cousins; and lifelong friends.
Mr. Radford was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother-in-law, Joe Rose.
The family will receive friends following the service Monday evening at Seymour Funeral Home or other times at the home.
