J.B. "Jimmy" Butler, 63, passed away Jan. 6, 2013.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 192 Woodland Church Road.
Born June 6, 1949 in Lexington, Ky., he was a son of the late Fannie Butler Watkins and James Butler, and the husband of Rosemary Butler. J.B. was a loving husband, father and grandfather, was a dedicated son to his mother, and was a retired process engineer for Cooper Standard.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie and Janie. Other than his wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory nine children, James Allen Butler, Connie Hunter, Kelly Alonzo, Jessica Pate, Michelle Martinez, Andrew Patterson and Brad, Brittany and Tyler Butler; grandchildren, Selena, Nikki, Gabby, Alexis, Sara and Sabrina; four brothers, Ebbie Butler (Jenny), Ray Butler (Bettie), Joe Butler (Barb) and Denny Butler; and five sisters, Joyce Moore, Carol Clem, Judy Patrick, Faye Wells and Barbara Martin (Ronnie). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church in his memory.
