DURHAM -- Adell Lewis Rodgers, 80, a resident of Durham Health Care Center, formerly of Goldsboro, died Sunday in Duke Medical Center, Durham.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at the Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Scottie Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery.
Precious memories are cherished by her devoted children, Pastor Scottie Rodgers of Goldsboro, Shonda Rodgers Murphy of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Faith Rodgers of Silver Spring, Md., LaKeia Mallary of Charlotte; her twin, Odell Lewis of Goldsboro; other siblings, Lehonor Lewis of Baltimore, Md., Frizzell Lewis Sr. (Mildred) of Union, N.J., and Alee Lewis of Goldsboro; sister-in-law, Clara Lewis of Chattanooga, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Earl Rodgers of Goldsboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 until 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. at the Haskins Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at 902 B S. John St., where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
