MOUNT OLIVE — Dennis R. Carlton, 67, of 208 Church St., died Sunday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Holy Ghost Cathedral, 812 E. James St., Mount Olive, with the Rev. Preston Grimes officiating. There will be a viewing from 2:30 p.m. until the hour of service at the church. Interment will be private for family and friends.
He was born on March 26, 1945, in Duplin County, to James and Jessie Mathis Carlton.
Services are being handled by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
