MOUNT OLIVE -- Selma Barwick Wiggins was born May 14, 1926, in Seven Springs. She died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington.
She is survived by three children, a daughter, Susan K. Ruffner of Mount Olive, Nolan Wiggins and wife, Daisy Jo, of Mount Olive and Wayne Wiggins of Dudley; two grandchildren, Eric Wiggins and wife, Rachel, and Jeffrey Wiggins both of Dudley; and two great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Eva Barwick Best of Jacksonville; a brother, Marion Grey Barwick of Seven Springs; and a number of nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 172 Ed Edmundson Road, Mount Olive, with Greg Massey officiating.
Family and friends will be received at the Kingdom Hall both before and after the service.
