Walter "Big Boy" Whitfield, 62, formerly of LaGange, died Wednesday, at Kinston Rehabilitation Center.
The funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor James I. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 3 until 7 p.m. today at LaGrange Funeral Service.
