William Allen "Bill" Ingram, 62, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Bill was born in Wayne County Aug. 1, 1950, to the late Chester Allen "Babe" Ingram and Katherine Gurley Ingram.
He was a retired carpenter, and was a man who enjoyed farming the land.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Anderson officiating. A private burial for the family will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Bill is survived by his children, Tammy Ingram McCoy and husband, Steve, Jennifer Ingram Cruse and husband, Joe, and William Allen Ingram II and wife, Joy; his grandchildren, Adrienne McCoy, Johnnie Medlin III, Andrew Cruse, Nathan Cruse, Breanna Ingram and William Allen "Trey" Ingram III; and the mother of his children and the love of his life, Julia Tillett.
He is also survived by his sisters, Deborah Howell and husband, Gerald, Cheryl Howell and husband, Doug, Sally Waddell and husband, Jerry, and Kelly Best and husband, Hal; his brother, Randy Ingram and Lynn; and his cousin and best friend, Stan Anderson.
