SEVEN SPRINGS -- Sammy Junior Monroe, 2717 Indian Springs Road, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Sunday at 6 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
He was born May 4, 1956, in Wayne County, son of the late Geraldine Monroe. He was married to Vivian S. Monroe.
He is survived by six children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
