Marie Barnes Best, 87, 212 Winslow Circle, died Monday.
Funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at New Spirit Church Ministries. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
She was born July 30, 1924, to the late Leonza Pope and Lena Barnes Ward.
She is survived by six daughters.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home.
