MYRTLE CHRISTINE BLACKWELL

Myrtle Christine Blackwell, 87, passed away Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Dolph Henry and Mollie Potter Blackwell.
Mrs. Myrtle was a member of Clingman Street Church of God now, Goldsboro Worship Center, and was retired from R.G. Barry.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends following the services.
A committal service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Blackwell is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth D. and Donald Robinson of Goldsboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Arnold G. and Sharon DuBois of Faison; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice B. and Worth Overby of Selma; six grandchildren and spouses, Angela King, Arnold DuBois Jr., Paul and Beth DuBois, Wanda DuBois, Travis and Shannon DuBois and Donnie and Christy Oates; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
