Ruth Lane, 85, died Sunday at Select Specialty Hospital in Durham.
Graveside service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. James "Jack" Davis officiating.
Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late John W. Pearce and Annie Pearl Whitley Pearce, and wife of the late Ralph Lane.
She is survived by two sons.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
