Ezzie Herman Stewart, 89, 915 Genoa Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hosptial.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joe Jackson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Salisbury National Cemetery Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012.
He was born Feb. 25, 1922, to the late Frank Stewart and Nola McCleod in Angier.
He leaves precious memories with his wife, Louise Cooper Stewart, and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a wake held Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, in the J.B. Rhodes Jr., Memorial Chapel from 6 to 7 p.m.
