KENLY -- Hazel Kirby Barnes, 85, died Wednesday at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Kenly United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Amon officiating. Burial will be at Kenly Cemetery.
Born Sept. 10, 1926, in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Sanford "Jim" and Cora Scott Kirby. She was married to the late Elvin Rupert Barnes.
She is survived by two children.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m., an hour prior to the service, at the church.
Minshew-Coley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
