WENDELL D. MAGOON

Wendell Drury Magoon, 81, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at the Brian Center.
Wendell was born in Northampton, Mass., Oct. 21, 1930, to the late Austin William Magoon and Esther Nimms Drury Magoon.
He retired as a machine operator for Bendix in Greenfield, Mass.
Services will be held at a later date at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Wendell is survived by his son, Donald Magoon and wife, Lynn, of Goldsboro; his daughter, Deborah Jean Sanborn and husband, David, of Greenfield, Mass.; his granddaughter, Jennifer Tate; and great-granddaughter, Margaret Tate.
He is also survived by several brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activities Department at the Brian Center, 1700 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
