MOUNT OLIVE -- Ricky Irie "Peebird" Ammons, 48, 186 Willie Best Road, died Friday at Windham Hall.
Funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with elder William Waters officiating. Burial will be in Broadhurst Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Pearlie Jones Ammons and the late Winston Ivory Ammons. He was married to Michelle Henry-Ammons.
He is survived by three children.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
