GARY L. LYNCH

DUDLEY -- Gary Lemley Lynch, 48, left this earth after a long and courageous battle with pain and suffering from an automobile accident resulting in a spinal cord injury Jan. 9, 2011.
Gary was born Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 1962, at 4:01 p.m. to Donald R. Lynch and Sarah P. Lynch of Goldsboro.
Gary leaves behind his wife, Gail; two loving children, Jordan Ford of Tallahassee, Fla., and Jenna Ford of Macon, Ga.; a sister, Donna Haggerty and husband, Bill, of Seven Springs; a nephew, Adam Haggerty of Seven Springs; two nieces, Anna and Amanda Haggerty both of Seven Springs; and two stepdaughters, April and Brittany Jones.
Gary was known for his physical strength.
He loved the outdoors, the seasons as they came and went, the plowing and turning of the soil, the reaping of the harvest.
Known as a hard worker, he took pride in all his work. He had matchless skills when it came to operating farm equipment.
Gary also had a tender heart, and a real love for family and friends. Through this love, Gary gave the gift of sight to others by being a corneal donor.
Graveside service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
