FLORENCE P. TUCKER

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Florence Perry Tucker, 90, Saturday morning, while at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, went to be with the Lord.
A retired homemaker, she worshipped at Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, was a native of Lenoir County and had been a Wayne County resident for many years.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by two sons and their wives, Henry Joseph and Martha Worrell of Mount Olive and Jonathan C. "Buddy" and Shirley Worrell of Seven Springs; her grandchildren, Danny Worrell and wife, Julie, and Teresa Swinson and husband, Neil, all of Mount Olive, Peggy Otellio and husband, Greg, of Dudley, John Allan Worrell and fiancée', Beverly Fenech of Goldsboro, Donald Williams Jr. of New Bern and Christina Patrick of Maxton; her great-grandchildren, Brooke Williamson, Beau Worrell, Jonathan Smith and wife, Kristen, and Greg Swinson all of Mount Olive, Heather Otellio, Samantha Otellio, Joseph Otellio, Kasey Worrell and Ivey Worrell all of Dudley, Jacquelin O. Hudson, Anthony Otellio and Crystal Williford and husband, Scott, all of Goldsboro and Phillip Williams of New Bern; five great-great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Ludie Smith of Mount Olive.
A service to celebrate her life will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tyndall Funeral Home, with pastors Doug Bartlett and pastor Jeff Dail officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home during the hour before the service, and at other times at the Henry Worrell residence, 1993 N.C. 55 East, Mount Olive.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial gifts be made to First Pentecostal Holiness Church Women's Ministries, 130 Ed Edmundson Road, Mount Olive, or Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro.
