Doris Mae Loftin, 79, of 113 Patetown Road, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held, Monday, May 30, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel FWB Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court. Pastor James Collins will officiate. Burial will follow at the Jerusalem Cemetery, Seven Springs. The public viewing will be held today from 3 until 6 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St.
Mrs. Loftin is survived by two daughters, Denise Steward-Pugh and Glenda Loftin Davis, both of Goldsboro; one son, Michael Loftin Sr. of Mobile, Ala.; one sister, Gladys Faye Loftin-Lewis, of Goldsboro; two brothers, James W. Smith of Goldsboro and Tony Loftin of Atlanta, Ga.
The family will assemble at her residence, 113 Patetown Road, on Monday at 10 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession to the church.
