SEVEN SPRINGS -- Annie Belle Taylor Alphin, 84, of 4903 N.C. 111 N., died Friday.
Services will be at 7 p.m. on Monday at Tyndall Funeral Chapel in Mount Olive, with visitation afterward. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Pineview Cemetery, Seven Springs.
Family and friends are being received also at the residence.
Known to her family as "Granny," she is survived by a son, David Alphin of Seven Springs; a daughter and son-in-law, Hilda A. and Wayland Stroud of Albertson; five grandchildren, Lynn Murphy and husband, Travis, of Pink Hill, Joe Alphin of Deep Run, Shannon Stroud and wife, Jamie, of Deep Run, Geishla Odom and husband, Brian, of Deep Run, Courtney Stroud and spouse, Terry Cannon of Albertson; her great-grandchildren, Dusty Murphy, Michael Alphin, Dalton Murphy and wife, Kelsey, Jacob Cannon, Joey Odom, and Emily Odom; a great-great-grandchild, Ady Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Willard Alphin; her parents, Dyser and Bert Taylor; sisters, Beulah Taylor and Lula Taylor; and brothers, Simon Taylor and Pinkney Arthur Taylor.
