TITUSVILLE, Fla. -- Candy Michelle Friend, 36, Titusville, Fla., formerly of Goldsboro, died unexpectedly Sunday morning.
She was born in Wayne County Oct. 31, 1974, and was the daughter of Julia Worley Friend and Wayne Allen Friend.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at Holts Pond Church of God of Prophecy in Princeton, with the Rev. Steve Singleton officiating.
She is survived by her mother, Julia Worley Friend of Mount Olive; her father, father, Wayne Allen Friend of Titusville, Fla.; her son, Matthew Allen Hofmann of Titusville, Fla.; her brother, Tony Marcus Lane of Pikeville; and her sister, Ellen Culbreth Hughes of Clayton.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
The family is being served by Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
