Eleanor Roosevelt Spry, 73, a former resident of Washington, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery and will be conducted by the Rev. H.E. Singleton. The family will receive friends following the service.
Ms. Spry was born in Beaufort County on Jan. 21, 1938, to the late Alonzo and Helen Lesner Spry. She was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers; four sisters; two nephews; and one niece.
