REBA SMALL JONES

SELMA -- Reba Small Jones, 90, Selma, formerly of Summerlin Crossroads area near Mount Olive, died Thursday at home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Richard Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday during the hour before the service.
She was preceded in death by a son, Davie Oliver Jones; her husband, Wilbert "Pete" Oliver Jones; two grandchildren, Hayden Peedin and Benjamin Wemmett; her parents, Millard Fillmore Small and Hattie Ola Taylor Small; and three sisters, Augusta Brantley, Evelyn Huffman and Gertrude Ballard.
Surviving are two sons, Wilbert "Bill" Fillmore Jones of Dudley and Timothy Warren Jones of Deep Run; a daughter-in-law, Laverne McLamb of Selma; three sisters, Mary Kennedy of Sanford, Elizabeth Small of Wilmington and Mildred Basden of Kinston; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
