HEZEKIAH E. SIMMONS
Hezekiah Edward Simmons, 87, of New York, died Saturday at the Regency Extended Care Center in Yonkers, N.Y. A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Rhodes Funeral Home chapel, 708 S. Slocumb St., Eldress Donzella Richardson officiating. Interment at the Old Mill Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silvanus Simmons and Elder Annie (John Ann) Simmons. He is survived by two sisters, Mozetta Leggette and Ossie Williams, both of Goldsboro. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Eliza Simmons and Letha Holt; and two brothers, William Simmons and Joseph Simmons.
