JOHNSTON COUNTY -- Gladys C. Langston, 92, died Dec. 31, 2010.
Funeral and graveside services were held Sunday, Jan. 2, at 2 p.m. at Langston Family Cemetery in Four Oaks, with the Rev. Richard Lewis officiating. Interment was in Langston Family Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty L. Lewis of Four Oaks, Edna Carol Higgins of Greenville, Tenn., and Flora Person of Four Oaks; two sons, Lester Ray Langston of Four Oaks and William "Billy" E. Langston of Newton Grove; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, c/o Becky Monson, 550 Bass Road, Four Oaks, N.C., 2752.
The family received friends at Ebenezer United Methodist Church after the graveside service.
